A search has been launched for six missing crew following an explosion on a tanker that later sank off Malaysia.
Asia News Network cited the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) as saying a vessel called Putri Sea was hit by a blast and subsequent fire on Thursday south-west of Tanjung Pengelih in Johor.
The Equatorial Guinea-flagged ship could not be contacted by its agent and there was no sign of it when rescue authorities arrived on the scene.
