A Singaporean company has turned to US courts for security in an ongoing $10m dispute with its Chinese charterer over competing bills of lading.

Poseidon Global Shipping filed a lawsuit against Aris Chartering on 6 August in the US federal court for the Central District of California seeking to attach its property at a local bank.
