Germany’s Hapag-Lloyd has purchased the last in a series of boxships from the fleet of compatriot owner Reederei Hamburger Lloyd (RHL).
The liner operator has acquired the 4,620-teu RHL Concordia and RHL Conscientia (both built 2012) in a deal that mirrors an earlier sale of two sisterships.
RHL managing director Hauke Pane confirmed the sale of the vessels but added that the ships will remain under technical management with the Hamburg-based ship manager.
