Brightoil Petroleum has dismissed market rumours and media reports that it has retrenched most of its bunker traders in Singapore.
“We wish to clarify that there has been no retrenchment in the Singapore office of Brightoil,” said Brightoil’s head of legal Sin Lye Kuen in a letter to Singapore’s The Business Times.
“Brightoil did certainly not let go of any of its bunker traders in the Singapore office in the last two months.”
