BW Group-backed Cadeler has put pen to paper on an order for two new wind turbine installation vessels (WTIVs) in China.
The Oslo-listed company said it is spending $651m on the new "X-class" pair at Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry.
Detailed consultations with clients and partners led to the capabilities of the jacking system and the main crane being improved during the final design phase.
