Turkey's latest effort to renew its domestic merchant fleet through scrapping incentives has come under fire.
The government is offering money to encourage Turkish owners to order replacement vessels, but the scope of the scheme is too limited, critics believe.
The idea is to support more environmentally sustainable and cleaner shipping, domestically and internationally, the Ministry of Transport & Infrastructure said.
