TotalEnergies Marine Fuels grows its interests in ammonia fuelling

Ammonia as a marine fuel is moving further onto the radar of energy major TotalEnergies fuelling arm as it expands its LNG bunkering business.

Speaking to TradeWinds, managing director Jerome Leprince-Ringuet said the fuelling company had followed its energy major parent’s May name change to become TotalEnergies Marine Fuels (TMF).

He said the switch aligned TMF with TotalEnergies in its efforts to become a multi-energy company with a goal of being a net-zero carbon business by 2050.
