Steady fixing activity in the period market for kamsarmax bulkers continued on Friday with news that a capesize and kamsarmax owned by Diana Shipping have won long-term employment.
The New York-listed shipowner expects the two new contracts to generate at least $14.62m of gross revenue.
Rotterdam's Viterra Chartering, part of what was known as Glencore Agriculture until it rebranded last year, has chartered Diana's 82,200-dwt kamsarmax Maia (built 2009).
