Norway's Fred Olsen Windcarrier has revealed new turbine transport and installation contracts with a combined value of up to €124m ($151m).
The Oslo-listed company said the deals are linked to work on offshore wind farms in 2022, 2023 and 2024 in Europe and Asia Pacific. The contracts last for up to 630 vessel days.
All three are repeat business from existing clients and each poses unique challenges in terms of operating in demanding soil conditions that require local knowledge and experience, the shipowner added.
