Clarksons Research has welcome news for beleaguered product tanker owners as activity picks up worldwide.
Against a background of weak rates and red ink for clean tanker operators, the UK-based research division of shipbroker Clarksons revealed that its monthly products trade growth indicator has shown a year-on-year rise for the first time since 2018.
Between March and April, growth was 4%.
