United Arab Emirates’ Abu Dhabi Ports (ADP) has unveiled an AED 3.7bn ($1bn) project to build a green ammonia production plant targeted at regional and international export markets.

ADP subsidiary Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) said privately owned special project vehicle company Helios Industry will invest the cash in the construction of the facility over several years.
