Tasik Subsea has managed to extend the charter period for its newbuilding subsea operations vessel, the company tells TradeWinds.
The DP3-rated Southern Star (built 2017) started a six-year bareboat charter on Monday an increase of a year on the original deal.
“The market is difficult with economic challenges at every tier, no one needs telling that,” said Tasik managing director John Giddens.
