US liquefaction developer Cheniere Energy has supplied a carbon neutral cargo of LNG to Shell.
Cheniere said it had offset the shipment’s estimated complete lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions from production to the final consumer with nature-based credits.
The company said the cargo was supplied by its Sabine Pass LNG facility and delivered to Europe in early April.
