Norwegian tanker king John Fredriksen is continuing to spend his money with the purchase of Mitsui & Co’s oil trading subsidiary Arcadia Petroleum.
The Japanese company said the Frontline chief’s Farahead Holding had agreed to buy all the shares in the London-based trader, with completion of the deal expected in January.
Farahead has been set up by Fredriksen to own the company.
