United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) has distanced itself from a court case in Denmark.
A Danish court has sentenced a local oil company for serious fraud against a client.
But the judge has ordered that the name of the bunker supplier would not be made public.
Torden Ostergraard-Nielsen, chief executive of USTC, said: “With the ongoing media coverage of the court case against a company in our industry, it is imperative for me to make it clear to the outside world that none of the companies under USTC or our bunker group Bunker Holding either in Denmark or abroad are involved in any fraud case.
