Elkem Chartering of Oslo has concluded a deal with Thoresen Shipping of Thailand giving the Norwegian company commercial management of Thoresen’s bulkers in the Atlantic basin.
The Thai company approached Elkem Chartering, which involves both spot and period business.
“This is very positive for us and the aim is to develop the business further,” said Elkem Chartering managing director Joel Baardson.
