Shandong Landbridge’s first VLCC, which will carry the name Landbridge Fortune, is set to join Navig8’s VL8 pool, according to a company executive.
It is believed to be the first Chinese company to join VL8.
Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co (DSIC) is scheduled to deliver the 308,000-dwt tanker next month.
London-based VL8, which has 18 members including Shandong Landbridge, comprises 37 VLCCs.
