Pyrsos Shipping is facing turmoil on its two vessels as one of them has reportedly been arrested while crew onboard the other ship have been left unpaid.
Twenty-six seafarers on the 33,261-dwt Antaeus (built 2009) say they have been stranded on the ship since mid-June in India’s Visakhapatnam with food supplies running out.
They have asked to resign and are demanding their wages for May and June, according to an announcement from a Greek workers union.
