Louis-Dreyfus warns of growing dry cargo confidence

Philippe Louis-Dreyfus has expressed concern about growing optimism in the dry bulk sector.

The Louis Dreyfus Armateurs chairman, who last week told a TradeWinds Forum that shipowners had no place in the capital markets, does not see the end of the dry cargo tunnel for another 18 months to two years.

"It worries me that some ship owners are saying things are picking up again,” he told Reuters in an interview.
