Malaysia’s EA Technique (EAT) is expected to acquire two tankers in the second quarter after increasing earnings in the first three months.
A report in The Edge daily also said the owner will take delivery of four tugs by the third quarter.
The company is listed as having six tankers in its fleet, with no newbuildings on order.
Net profit for the first quarter was up to MYR 25.19m
