A troublesome 2014-built Condor Ferries ship has been detained with “substantial deficiencies”.
The BBC said the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) has halted services involving the 6,300–gt Condor Liberation (built 2014) following a check on Tuesday.
Condor said the routine annual inspection “coincided with planned repair and maintenance to the propulsion and steering systems on a non-sailing day.
