Evergreen founder Chang Yung-fa has died at the age of 88.
The billionaire, who entered shipping at the age of just 14, died today, the company said.
He was ranked by Forbes as the seventeenth-richest man in Taiwan last year and had interests in aviation and tourism among other industries.
The magnate called himself “a natural-born son of the ocean”, according to Bloomberg.
