US owner Harley Marine has bought 10 barges and tugs from compatriot Enterprise Marine Services (EMS).
EMS, the subsidiary of New York-listed Enterprise Products Partners, sold six doubled-hulled barges and four towage units, Harley said.
"Harley Marine will also acquire the expertise and knowledge of current Enterprise employees associated with these assets, making the transition smooth and seamless as the vessels are incorporated into the Harley Marine fleet and adapt to the company's policies and procedures," it said.
