Sources indicate Nakilat’s 267,335-cbm LNG carrier Rasheeda (built 2010) was scheduled to re-emerge from Qatar’s Nakilat-Keppel Offshore & Marine (N-KOM) shiprepair facility on Monday after entering the yard at the start of April for the long-planned engine-modification job.

Those following the work say “everything went fine” and that there were no delays.

No specific timing for the conclusion of the Q-max’s gas trials have been detailed, which will allow sufficient time for the performance of the new engine and its associated on-deck fuel gas supply system to be fully monitored, they add.
