The Hyundai Mipo-built, 46,000-dwt tankers Brimanger and Berganger (both built 2009) are believed to be going for $28.5m each, which is a firm price given that online platform VesselsValue.com pegs them at just $24.4m apiece.
The buyer is said to be based in the Middle East.
The sales leaves Westfal-Larsen with a fleet of six chemical tankers built from 2009 to 2012 that are trading, plus two 50,000-dwt products tankers on order at Hyundai Mipo for delivery next year.
