All four crew members taken to hospital are suffering from smoke inhalation. One of the crew, suffering from burns is in a critical condition.
The vessel involved is the 13,462-dwt Singapore-flagged Ocean Drover (built 2002), which is owned by Wellard Ships.
It is understood the ship was waiting to be loaded with livestock when the fire broke out, and there were no animals on board.
