The company, better known as a buyer of secondhand vessels, has ordered the ships as part of its fleet renewal and expansion programme, Winning’s vice-president Sun Zhijun tells TradeWinds.
The bulkers will be the largest vessels owned by the company when they are delivered in the second half of 2016.
Winning was established in 2002 by Sun Xiushun, who was formerly with Cosco Qingdao.
