The European Union’s general court ruled that European Council (EC) nations could not prove IRISL vessels were involved in financing “nuclear proliferation” and annulled a 2010 decision that froze its cash and “economic resources”.
A total of 17 other applicants linked to IRISL also had restrictive measures removed.
No details were revealed of the amounts involved.
