Sammok Shipping of South Korea has ordered a series of ultramax bulker newbuildings.
The company says it has firmed up two 64,000-dwt bulkers at China’s New Times Shipbuilding for delivery during the first half of 2015. The deal includes two options.
An official at the Seoul based outfit says it is taking advantage of the current low shipbuilding market to beef up its fleet.
