Sembcorp Marine subsidiary SMOE has officially snagged the US$100 million contract to build the modular units for the Australia Pacific LNG facility.



The deal, which could rise to $150 million in value, was signed with APLNG contractor Bechtel.

SMOE will assemble process and cryogenic pipe-rack modules for the LNG plant planned for Curtis Island in Queensland. LNG Unlimited reported last week that SMOE was tipped to win the deal.
