A tanker from which two fishermen were allegedly shot dead last month has been released by Indian authorities.

Dolphin Tanker’s 104,000-dwt Enrica Lexie (built 2008) was cleared to leave Kochi port by a court today.

Dolphin is said to have argued it could not be held responsible for the actions of the marines accused of shooting the fishermen as they were supplied by the Italian military.
