Oslo-listed, Hong Kong-based bulker owner Jinhui Shipping & Transportation Ltd has won a double legal victory in London and Hong Kong in a $44m fight with Parakou Shipping.
The company has so far not announced its good news to its shareholders.
The long-running but hitherto unreported charter-redelivery battle dates back to the heady days of the bulker boom.
On the commercial level, what stung Parakou was a deal done at the height of the dry-bulk bubble.
