A 40-year-old LNG carrier thought scrapped remains in layup and is being evaluated for future conversion opportunities.
The 129,300-cbm Sunrise (ex-Transgas and Edouard LD, built 1977) is in lay-up in Batam, Indonesia.
The vintage vessel is now owned by Indonesian industrial oil and gas company Energi Dian Kemala (EDK).
