Norway’s Knutsen OAS Shipping has emerged as the favoured candidate to win time-charter business from Spanish utility Iberdrola that will support a single LNG carrier newbuilding.
Those following the tender process say the Spanish gas buyer appears to be in final negotiations with Knutsen over the provision of a newbuilding to take on charter for a period of seven years plus optional periods.
