A new shipping bank backed by a string of major players has officially opened its doors for the first time.
Maritime & Merchant Bank, which includes Henning Oldendorff and Arne Bylstad among its backers, was launched this week, a statement confirmed.
The niche financing venture has been on the drawing board since 2013 and last week it emerged Norwegian tycoon Endre Rosjo had joined its ranks of high profile stakeholders.
