Reederei Nord has sold a third panamax bulker at a higher price than it secured for two sisterships earlier this year.
Sources say the Hyundai Samho built 75,000-dwt Nordems (built 2001) has sold to a Chinese buyer for $5m, which is in excess of expectations.
In April this year, Reederei Nord sold the 75,000-dwt Nordrheine (built 2001) to Primebulk of Greece for $3.9m.
