Greek owner New Vision Shipping has carried out a successful asset play on a supramax bulker that it purchased a little more than two years ago.
Multiple brokers in Europe and in the US report that the company has sold the 56,000-dwt New Kosmos (built 2005) to another Greek shipowner for more than $11m.
A New Vision executive confirmed that the ship has been committed to be sold but said a strict confidentiality clause prevents him from disclosing details of the transaction.
