MPC Container Ships (MPCC) has bought another three containerships for a combined $31.9m.
The 2,742-teu Vilano, Cap Pasado and Cap Blanche (all built 2006) will be renamed AS Cleopatra, AS Christiania and AS Carlotta respectively.
Built at Aker MTW Werft, Germany, the vessels are operated by Alnwick Harmstorf of Hamburg.
Delivery is expected before the end of the year, bringing the MPCC fleet to 39 ships.
