Marinpet Petrol Denizcilik has completed its first acquisition since 2015 as it snapped up a small chemical carrier from Nordic Tankers.
The low-profile Turkish owner said it has purchased the 7,842-dwt Nordic Theresa (built 2008).
It has been renamed AC-D and will become the youngest vessel in the Marinpet fleet.
Nordic Theresa was built at Turkish shipyard Istanbul SY while the other four ships operated by Marinpet have also been built in Turkish yards.
