Australian contractor WorleyParsons is on the brink of securing the major upstream project management role at the Australia Pacific LNG development in Queensland.
Staff from several Australian engineering companies including WorleyParsons have in recent months been “seconded” to the APLNG upstream project team to work on design and engineering, according to sources.
This was in keeping with the owners’ strategy of having their own team doing the front-end work.
