PetroVietnam Gas opened talks late last month with Qatargas over a potential LNG supply deal.
The state-controlled outfit is planning a 1 million tonnes per annum terminal next to the existing Thi Vai LPG facility in Vung Tau province. PV Gas said it expects to kick off LNG operations in late 2013.
