Uruguay is set to launch supply discussions next week for its share of capacity at the GNL del Plata terminal project.
Two government-owned companies, Ancap and UTE, are separately pursuing volumes from Argentine partner Enarsa, although a joint contract has not been ruled out, a source said.
Uruguay is eyeing long-term deals while leaving part of its capacity for spot cargoes. Enarsa has traditionally relied on short-term purchases.
