Perth-based Ophir Energy and its partner BG Group of the UK are considering the use of a pair of tension-leg platforms in the development of recent gas discoveries off Tanzania that will provide feedstock for a planned onshore LNG export plant.
One TLP would be sited over the Chaza discovery in Block 1, while a second would be located at the Chewa and Pweza finds in Block 4.
