Thailand’s PTT has pulled back from its plan to work with Japanese gas distributer Tokyo Gas to secure LNG supply.

State-controlled PTT put the move down to the need for Tokyo Gas to sort out its problems resulting from the earthquake and tsunami in March.

"We have to put the cooperation plan on hold because Tokyo Gas has to solve its problems at home as a result of the quake," PTT chief executive Prasert Bunsumpunin said in a Reuters report.
