Nexus Energy has expanded its deal with Shell and Osaka Gas to include a potential stand-alone floating LNG project at its Crux gas and liquids field.
The heads of agreement with the Prelude LNG project partners expands the development options that had previously focussed on providing backfill to Shell's first floater. The stand-alone could provide an earlier time frame, Nexus said.
