South Korean gas supplier SK E&S Company has merged with its power generation affiliate K-Power to improve its LNG business.

Under the agreement, parent company SK Holdings now holds 84.13% of SK E&S, whilst IT arm SK C&C has the remainder.

“SK E&S will drive future growth of the group by bolstering vertical integration of the LNG value chain,” said SK Group senior vice chairman Chey Jae-won.
