Malaysian fabricator Ramunia has been awarded three contracts worth 587 million ringgit ($166 million) by Shell for new platforms off Sarawak.



Ramunia said it will build the F23R-A topsides and substructure, and the CPDR-A and F28DR-A substructures.



It is understood the work is linked to the continued development of Shell’s large E11 gas hub project off Malaysia, which the company said focuses on the monetisation of about 500 million barrels of oil equivalent of reserves.
