Pre-front-end engineering and design studies for the upstream and midstream elements of the Bonaparte LNG floating liquefaction project off north-west Australia are more than 80% complete.
The results of an appraisal well spudded earlier this month at the Petrel field will also assist in “the conceptual design and developments of the floating liquefaction project”, Santos chief executive David Knox said in a results briefing.
