Industry players said a cargo was recently transferred between two LNG carriers that are not sisterships during operations at Argentina’s import facility Bahia Blanca GasPort. The operation is said to have taken place when a cargo was transferred from the 130,000-cbm Mark III membrane-type Castillo de Villalba (built 2003) on to the 138,087-cbm LNG regasification vessel Excelsior (built 2005), which has an NO 96-type membrane containment system.
