US utility Dominion is testing the waters for the re-export of LNG from its Cove Point terminal in Maryland as it seeks ways to bring in business.
The operator this week revealed plans to seek authorisation to use Cove Point for re-loading previously imported LNG.
This comes at a time when Dominion faces ever dwindling import volumes at the terminal, forcing the outfit to consider other alternatives to keep the facility open.
